Porno For Pyros Is Recording New Music

The band’s performance at the Belasco in L.A. last month marked the original lineup’s (singer Perry Farrell, guitarist Peter DiStefano, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Martyn LeNoble) first full concert together in more than a quarter century.

“@pornoforpyros writing and recording new music,” Peter wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo of him and Perry.
If you haven’t checked out Porno For Pyro’s performance at Lollapalooza’s Lolla2020 livestream, it’s a good, quick watch. Farrell, Perkins, DiStefeno and Mike Watt did acoustic versions of the ’93 hit “Pets” as well as “Kimberly Austin” (from “Good God’s Urge”).
Prior to the Lolla2020 livestream, the band’s last performance was at Farrell’s 50th-birthday party back in 2009.
There’s been talk of Porno For Pyros reuniting for years. And it looks like it’s finally happening!
