September 26, 2022

Following the release of Ozzy Osbourne’s 13th studio album, “Patient Number 9”, Ozzy released a three-part video series with lots of interview clips and in-studio performances!

You get to see inside The Madman’s world, featuring interviews with the album’s producer Andrew Watt, Ozzy’s wife Sharon Osbourne, Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Ozzy’s longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde, Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Chad Smith (Chili Peppers), Duff McKagan (Gn’R) and Mike McCready (Pearl Jam) and more!

Keeping it in the family, the series was created and produced by Ozzy’s son Jack Osbourne.

And this shouldn’t surprise you, the album has crushed since release; in the U.S., the album debuted #1 on multiple charts: Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Vinyl Albums and Tastemaker Albums charts.

And, why not, throw in #3 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

Globally, the album went to #1 in Canada, #2 in the U.K., Australia, Finland, Austria, Germany and Sweden and Italy,#3 in Switzerland, #4 in Norway, #6 in the Netherlands and New Zealand; #8 in Belgium; and #14 France.

Meanwhile, Ozzy was the halftime of the Los Angeles Rams season opener on September 8 at SoFi Stadium!

Prior to the halftime show, the last time Ozzy played live was when he made a surprise appearance at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

And in an effort to remain one of the hardest working musicians on planet earth, Ozzy and his wife/manager Sharon are coming back to the small screen with a 10-part reality series called “Home To Roost”. It will air on BBC One and iPlayer and shows the Osbournes’ return to living in Britain.

Are you surprised that more rock artists/bands don’t do the same thing and have multiple guests on their albums? Slash did it on his first solo album. Which ruled. Personally, I love it when other musicians appear on bands I love.

Kudos to Ozzy for continuing to set the rock bar high!
