Johnny Depp Is Satan in new Terry Gilliam Movie
Looks like Johnny Depp will continue his acting career playing Satan in a new movie directed by Terry Gilliam.

Gilliam (who you’ll know from his work on Monty Python and the Holy Grail, 12 Monkeys and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) spoke to Premiere about his next movie, The Carnival at the End of Days.
So yeah, Depp plays Satan and Jeff Bridges plays God!
Boom.
Love that match-up!
Adam Driver and Jason Momoa are also in the movie, but not sure of in what capacity.
Gilliam told Premiere that the movie will be a “comedy where God decides to destroy Humanity. And the only one trying to save us is Satan. Because he needs people in hell, otherwise he won’t have a job for eternity!”
He added that the movie “will be very funny for those who like to be offended”. They’re starting to film the movie in January ’25.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Gilliam and Depp have worked together. Depp starred in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Similarly, Bridges was in Gilliam’s The Fisher King.
