Helmet Releases New Song ‘Gun Fluf’ From Upcoming ‘Left’ Album

September 21, 2023

You haven’t heard a new Helmet album in almost six years. That’s about to change, as they ready the release of their new studio album, “Left”, on November 10. The band has already released the album’s second single, “Gun Fluf”!

Helmet’s last album, 2016’s “Dead To The World”, was received to critical acclaim.

The band’s new album, “Left”, sees the Helmet – comprised of frontman Page Hamilton, drummer Kyle Stevenson, guitarist Dan Beeman and bassist Dave Case – flex their musical muscles once again.

Hamilton and Jim Kaufman and Mark Renk produced the 11-song album, and it was mastered by Howie Weinberg. And yes, you should expect more drop-D tuning.

“Left” track listing:

02. Gun Fluf
03. NYC Tough Guy

IMO Helmet is a dreadfully underrated band. Crushing riffs. Driving grooves. Great vocals. What’s not to love?
