April 22, 2023

Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC have both landed on Billboard Boxscore’s list of “Top 10 Tours Of All Time”!

Billboard Boxscore has been keeping tabs on tours for almost four decades.

Elton John holds the record for the highest-grossing tour of all time with his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, which has made $818 million!

Ed Sheeran‘s 258 shows for his The ÷ (Divide) Tour earned him $776 millon and broke U2’s record in August 2019.

U2 sits in third spot $736 million from their 360° Tour.

Guns N’ Roses sits in 4th with their “Not In This Lifetime…” tour, grossing $584 million.

The Rolling Stones‘ A Bigger Bang Tour made $558 million.

AC/DC “Black Ice” world tour is 9th on the list, earning $442 million.

Harry Styles recently entered the list with his Love on Tour, earning $400 million.

Last year, AC/DC singer Brian Johnson told Rolling Stone he didn’t know if AC/DC would ever tour again, “I would love to. It’s as simple as that. I think everybody would. There’s a groundswell of people just asking. But I hate talking about the future, because, fuck, we were ready two years ago, and the pandemic came, and it screwed everything up. So I’m terrified to say what could happen and what couldn’t.”

Are you at all surprised at how much some of these tours made?
