Alter Bridge To Start Recording Seventh Studio Album

April 11, 2022

Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti was recently a guest of The Rock Titan podcast and reveals that the band is getting together next week to start work on a new album, “I just got off with Tremonti about… last week, maybe. I hit the ground running. I had half a day off and went into the studio with Alter Bridge. We’re doing pre-production right now. Drum tracking will probably start in about four days. And then I hit the road [again], head to Europe on May 27th through July 3rd. And then we’ll kind of see what happens between the window of that and our Alter Bridge tour that kicks back off in November.”

This new album will follow up the 7 song EP “Walk The Sky 2.0” that Alter Bridge released in November 2020.

Tremonti has been busy during the pandemic, and released his fifth album, “Marching In Time”, with Tremonti in September ’21.

And Alter Bridge singer Myles Kennedy released his sophomore solo album, “The Ides Of March”, in May ’21.

Meanwhile, Tremonti recently partnered with National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) to release an album of Frank Sinatra covers called “Tremonti Sings Sinatra” on May 27. Proceeds will support NDSS.
