Great news! Alien Ant Farm just released a new song called “So Cold” and it’s as riff-tastic as you’d hope/expect it to be! Hear it below. And, with new music, comes a new album! Their upcoming  new album, “~mAntras~”, is out April 26, 2024.

“~mAntras~” track listing:

The “~mAntras~” album brings the band out of a damn-near-decade-long hiatus! Alien Ant Farm released a joint statement, “The new album might not be for the faint of heart, but it might be for the heart broken…”

Adding, “If you’re an Alien Ant Farm fan true and true, you won’t be disappointed, and if you’re just a visitor from another planet, we hope you enjoyed your extra terrestrial visit.”

Alien Ant Farm play May 10 as part of the MASSIVE Welcome To Rockville 2024! Look at those bands! Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Judas Priest, Anthrax. Sorry, let me wipe the stars from my eyes.

If you’re not up to speed on the band – they formed in ’96. Singer/songwriter Dryden Mitchell, guitarist Terry Corso, bassist Tye Zamora, and drummer Mike Cosgrove. Bored of their jobs, they were like, ‘let’s rock the eff out instead’. Dude, they named their debut album, “Greatest Hits” and was LA Music Award’s Best Independent Album of ’99.

Couple years later, their major label debut, “ANThology”, came out in 2001. And with it, “Smooth Criminal”, their incredible cover of Michael Jackson’s original. No surprise to see – or its that hear- that song go to #1 on Modern Rock charts and selling Platinum.

Five studio albums. Over five million albums sold.

Legit.

CANNOT WAIT to hear the whole NEW Alien Ant Farm album! Talk about an underrated band. They absolutely rock! Big riffs. Great vocals. Chugs along when it needs to chug along.

Canada should steal them from the U.S. ’cause they’re absolute beauties.
