AC/DC: ’50 Years Of High Voltage Rock ‘N’ Roll’ Book Coming In ’23

December 10, 2022

AC/DC fans will wonder why the band’s upcoming, officially licensed book, “AC/DC: 50 Years Of High Voltage Rock ‘N’ Roll”, wasn’t ready for Santa to put it under your Christmas tree. Who knows what happened there, but at least it’s not a long wait.

Publisher Rufus said, “AC/DC have sold more than 200 million records worldwide, including 71.5 million albums in the United States, making them one of the biggest rock bands in the world. In 2023 the band will celebrate their 50th anniversary. We are working on something very special to celebrate that anniversary.”

The band’s latest album, “Power Up”, was released in November ’20 and featured their current lineup; Brian Johnson (vocals), Phil Rudd(drums), Cliff Williams (bass), Angus Young (guitar) and Stevie Young (guitar). It was recorded in six weeks at Vancouver at Bryan Adams’ studio, Warehouse Studios.

The album was #1 in 18 countries and was the band’s sixth #1 album in Australia.

Recommend a rock read.

What’s been some of your favourites? ‘Red’ by Sammy Hagar and ‘Life’ by Keith Richards are both page-turners. Amazing books.
