Titled 1192, the release pulls from the band’s earliest sessions in November 1992, almost at the start for Weezer. The album was uncovered by founding bassist Matt Sharp while digging through a stack of what he calls “lost-album” master tapes.

1192 captures the original Weezer lineup in its rawest form, with Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Matt Sharp and Jason Cropper all featured on the recordings.

You’ll hear early demo versions of future staples like Say It Ain’t So and Undone (The Sweater Song), tracks that would soon help land the band a deal with Geffen Records in 1993.

With Sharp serving as producer and Joe Chiccarelli handling the mix, the album has been fully remixed from tape to vinyl using an all-analogue process. Just 3,000 copies will be pressed, with release day set for April 18.
