If you’re a Weezer fan, your day just got better. The band announced a new concert film to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut record, ‘The Blue Album’!
In 1994, Weezer released their self-titled debut album, ‘The Blue Album’, and it was glorious. They’ve recently been touring to support the anniversary and turns out, recorded a concert film at one of their recent shows!
Singer Rivers Cuomo and crew announced the film, ‘Weezer’s Voyage to the Blue Planet: The Concert Film’ on social media, and confirmed it will be livestreamed at Moment.co on October 13 and 14.
One small step for man, one giant leap for Weezerkind 🚀
On October 13th + 14th, we’re bringing you a very special concert film of The Voyage to the Blue Planet Tour (shot at the Boston show). For all of you that couldn’t make it out to the tour, now’s your chance to come… pic.twitter.com/fDYyCzfba3

The concert film’s announcement comes after Weezer earlier this month announced the 30th anniversary reissue of ‘The Blue Album’, with has 36 unreleased tracks! The Super Deluxe Edition of the record will be “the most comprehensive vision of ‘The Blue Album’ ever created, and will consist of four 12-inch LPs, one 10-inch and a 7-inch.
And earlier this month, Weezer started their 30th anniversary tour, ‘Voyage to the Blue Planet’, with support from The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr.
Remaining ‘Voyage to the Blue Planet’ tour dates are:
OCTOBER
