Watch pro-shot footage of Oasis playing ‘Acquiesce’ at Cardiff reunion gig

Well, apparently Hell has frozen over. This past Friday (July 4), Oasis played their first comeback concert in Cardiff and thankfully we’re in an era of immediate gratification. No need to go to the show, just check out social media after the gig for all the highlights!

The first show of Oasis Live 25 saw the Gallagher brothers sharing the stage together for the first time in 16 years! 16 YEARS. Of course, it was a sold out crowd at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and it seemed that every song was a hit.

They started the set with ‘Hello’, the first time they’d played that since 2002. Then, ‘Acquiesce’, which you can see below.

Oasis shared some behind-the-scenes footage of Liam & Noel walking on stage for the first time since 2009.

Holy hell, it’s happening!

As you’d hope/expect, Oasis played the big hits like ‘Morning Glory’, ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, ‘Supersonic’, ‘Half The World Away’ and more. They ended their first show in 16 years with ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’.

Mic drop.

During the show, both brothers made fun of Ticketmaster’s dynamic ticket pricing system. Garbage, really.

Oasis also had a tribute to later Liverpool star Diogo Jota during ‘Live Forever’. Jota was killed in a car crash last Thursday (July 3). He was 28.

Following their show in Cardiff, Oasis, Cast and Richard Ashcroft played their second show last night (July 5) in Cardiff, ahead of five homecoming shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park, seven nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, and shows in Edinburgh and Dublin. The Oasis Live ’25 tour also comes to North America, South America, Australia, South Korea and Japan.

Seems Oasis is back! How long do you think it’ll be before they self-implode? Or will they endure?
