Well, Leonardo DiCaprio’s new movie One Battle After Another looks pretty good. Watch the first teaser trailer below!
One Battle After Another is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and is DiCaprio’s first role since 2023’s Killer of the Flower Moon, Scorses’s historical drama (that received 10 Oscar nominations).
Exact plot details for One Battle After Another are not konwn – but the story is said to be inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s classic novel Vineland.
From the trailer, you learn that DiCaprio plays Bob Ferguson, a disheveled revolutionary who is trying to save his daughter. Benicia del Toro stars as Bob’s mentor. Those two together, right? Damn.
One Battle After Another trailer ends with DiCaprio screaming “Viva la revolución” as he and del Toro prepare to take on their enemies.
You can expect to seeOne Battle After Another in theatres as of September 25. It also stars Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor and Chase Infiniti.
Anderson, who also wrote the script, is yet to win an Oscar, but has been nominated 11 times, with Licorice Pizza receiving nods for Best Picture, Best Director and best Original Screenplay.
Looks like another stellar movie coming from Mr. DiCaprio. What’s his best? That one where the bear mauls him? Shiiiiiiit.
