The Weeknd Reacts To Taylor Swift Joining His Spotify Milestone

The Weeknd took to his Instagram account to reshare a news post on his stories, showing support to Taylor Swift for hitting 100 million Spotify listeners.

Swift joins The Weeknd as the only other music artist with 100 million Spotify listeners.

The news post The Weeknd’s reshared had a ’15 photo of the two hugging onstage at Swift’s ‘1989’ World Tour, where she brought him out to perform his smash, ‘Can’t Feel My Face’.

 

Spotify announced Swift’s domination, writing, “Queen behavior. On August 29th, Taylor Swift became the first female artist in Spotify history to reach 100 million monthly listeners.”

Swift will release ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ as the latest re-recorded album on October 27, ’23 – nine years after the release of the original ’14 album. 

Meanwhile, The Weeknd recently broke Wembley Stadium’s highest attendance record – selling 87,000 tikcets to one show.

Oh, and btw – The Weeknd has 110 million monthly listeners. Swift’s chasing him down!

Which band/artist will hit 100 million Spotify listeners next? Any guesses?
