“The Show Of A Lost World” captures the band’s sold-out November 1, 2024 London performance: 3,000 fans inside, over a million more watching live on YouTube.

“It felt like a real celebration of everything we’ve ever done,” singer Robert Smith said. “And now it’ll finally live again, properly.”

The concert coincided with the release of Songs Of A Lost World, their first studio album in 16 years, which The Cure performed front to back before diving into classics from Seventeen Seconds and a ferocious encore.

Shortly after, they dropped Songs Of A Live World: Troxy London MMXXIV, donating all royalties to War Child. Fans have been asking for the full show ever since.

Now, Smith and company have delivered. The entire 31-song performance has been recut, remixed, and remastered in 4K with a brand-new Dolby Atmos mix by Smith himself.

“It’s more than a concert film,” he teased. “It’s a time capsule, a memory of where we were and what we still believe in.”

The Cure: The Show Of A Lost World hits cinemas worldwide on December 11, with Blu-ray and DVD releases to follow later in the month.

“We’ve got more to say,” Smith said. “And I think people will be surprised by how much light there still is in all this darkness.”
