This. Is. Huge. Slipknot just announced a 25th anniversary reissue of their self-titled debut album that has 40 unreleased songs!
Slipknot’s 25th anniversary reissue not only has new songs, but you can expect new artwork, demos and live recordings, previously unseen images from the band’s personal archives!
You’ll be able to get ahold of the reissue both physically and digitally as of September 25. Pre-order here.

The reissue is available in the following formats: 6LP Box Set with blood splattered vinyl (just 1899 copies), red/black 2LP, and 2CD. Additionally, an exclusive orange 2LP will be available at their festival site, Knotfest.
The 6LP variation will include the original album, Indigo Ranch mixes, demos and alternative mixes, and live recordings from 1999 and 2000.

Meanwhile, remember that back in May, guitarist Jim Root said they’ve completed ‘six arrangements’ for a new album. Slipknot hasn’t released new music since 2022’s ‘The End So Far’, although they did tease a new song “Long May You Die”, recorded when new drummer (since dismissed) Eloy Casagrande joined Slipknot in early 2024. They still haven’t released that ‘teased’ song.
