Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators Recording Fifth Album This Fall

June 2, 2024

Slash was recently a guest of SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk” and confirmed that he’s heading into a recording studio with his band later this year. “We’re gonna go record another record after this (‘S.E.R.P.E.N.T.’ festival) tour is over and then sit on it and wait for the right window to be able to release it so we have a clear window to do a domestic and international tour for 10 months.”

Slash added, “Conspirators will go in the studio in the fall. And then next year is gonna be back (on the road) with Guns. And then we’re gonna figure out exactly when to release the Conspirators record. ‘Cause you’ve got Alter Bridge, you’ve got all these other things going on”. Don’t forget, Slash’s singer Myles Kennedy is also a member of Alter Bridge.

Slash started “The River Is Rising – Rest Of The World Tour ’24” on January 23 in Mexico City’s Pepsi Centre WTC. Their 24-song setlist included the live debut of the G n’ R song, “Don’t Damn Me”, with bassist Todd Kerns on lead vocals. Mammoth WVH was support.

ICYMI, Slash’s “Orgy Of The Damned” blues album was released on May 17.

You can see Slash’s “S.E.R.P.E.N.T.” festival throughout the U.S. this summer, starting July 5 in Bonner, Montana. It wraps August 17 in Grand Prairie, Texas. S.E.R.P.E.N.T. stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance. On all dates, Slash will play with his blues band featuring bassist Johnny Griparic, keyboardist Teddy “ZigZag” Andreadis, drummer Michael Jerome and singer/guitarist Tash Neal.

Joining Slash at various stops on the tour will be Warren Haynes Band, Keb’ Mo’, Larkin Poe, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Samantha Fish, ZZ Ward, Robert Randolph, Eric Gales and Jackie Venson.

If it wasn’t Myles Kennedy singing for Slash’s band – who would you want instead?
