See Some New Images From ‘Joker’ Sequel
Filmmaker/producer Todd Phillips jumped on his Instagram account to share some new images from the forthcoming sequel to his 2019 DC Comics movie, Joker.The sequel is called ‘Folie à Deux’ and will hit theatres on October 4, 2024, (the fifth anniversary of Joker).

Phillips said, “Wishing everyone a happy holiday and a beautiful new year. October 2024 #Joker2.”
As you can see, the first picture shows Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, through a small window in a prison door. The second, has Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn, looking at the Joker.
Phoenix’s co-star, Zazie Beetz (Sophie Dumond), talked about the “musical elements” of the sequel in June, saying you’ll be surprised by them, “I think people will be surprised. I don’t think it’s going to be what they expect, around it being musical. We all sort of express musically and dancing in our lives day-to-day. I think it’s going to work really well.”
