Woah, this is big. Stranger Things star Sadie Sink has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe! She’s been cast alongside Tom Holland In Spider-Man 4!
As you’d expect, things are under wraps right now – not sure which character Sadie will play, but apparently her role is “significant”.
There’s speculation Sink could be playing the X-Men mutant Jean Grey (a role once played by Famke Janssen and more recently Sophie Turner).
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton is directing the fourth Holland-led Spider-Man film.
Everything is still in early stages of development, plot details are slim (if any). But back in October 2024, Holland and co-star Zendaya said they read the script and It was ‘excellent’. So that’s good.
Holland said, “It really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and we at times were bouncing around the living room like, ‘This is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.’ But there’s a few things we need to figure out before we can get that really going, but it’s exciting.”
You can expect Spider-Man 4 in theatres on July 31, 2026.
