Queens Of The Stone Age is ready to release the follow-up to 2017’s Villains album. Their eighth studio album, “In Times New Roman…”, is being released on June 16!
The band also released the first single, “Emotion Sickness”. They recorded and mixed the album at singer Joshua Homme’s own Pink Duck (RIP), with additional recording at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La.
A press release says, “Sometimes one needs to look beneath scars and scabs to see beauty, and sometimes the scabs and scars are the beauty.”
The album was produced by QOTSA and mixed by Mark Rankin. You’ll be able to buy the album across all digital platforms and on vinyl (black, green, red, silver and blue) and CD. The artwork and double LP gatefold packaging was designed by longtime collaborator Boneface.
The track listing is as follows:
01. Obscenery
02. Paper Machete
03 Negative Space
04. Time & Place
05. Made To Parade
06. Carnavoyeur
07. What The Peephole Say
