Porno For Pyros Farewell Tour, New EP
If you missed the news, Porno For Pyros announced their farewell tour for 2024. I mean really though, they haven’t done too much in the last two-and-a-half decades. But now they’ve decide to do a 16-city tour (their farewell, apparently) that starts February 13 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California, making stops across North America in Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York and more before wrapping up in Montclair, New Jersey at The Wellmont Theater on March 10.
If this wasn’t enough, the band has also started to debut new music. Tomorrow they release ‘Agua’. The single is off their forthcoming EP, set to drop in 2024 (ahead of the band’s tour).
Singer Perry Farrell said, “Now we’re here, and that same heart, that same desire to make music together, has returned. Getting together with these guys has been some of the most fun, the happiest times in my life.”
Last year you saw the band reunite with original members (Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano and Martyn LeNoble) for a sold-out show at the Belasco in DTLA. Since then, they’ve played at Welcome To Rockville, the Chicago Metro and Lollapalooza.

With the success of their band Jane’s Addiction, singer Perry Farrell and drummer Stephen Perkins formed Porno For Pyros, with the addition of Peter DiStefano and Martin LeNoble. Farrell named the band after seeing an ad for fireworks in a pornographic magazine.

As expected, no Vancouver date. This might be a trip down the coast – Santa Ana, San Diego, Ventura, Los Angeles – fair warning. I may be in you next year.
