Steven Knight is pulling back the curtain on the upcoming Oasis Live ’25 documentary, and if his early take holds up, this one’s gonna be good!

The Peaky Blinders creator is producing the film, which tracks Oasis as they gear up for their massive Live ’25 reunion run. Behind the camera, Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace bring their pedigree from Shut Up And Play The Hits.
And yeah… there’s gold in the vault.
Knight says the film includes “phenomenal” footage of Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher reconnecting ahead of the comeback shows. Real moments. Real tension. The stuff fans have been waiting decades to see.
“It’s phenomenal,” Knight said, noting the current cut sits at four hours and counting. It’ll be trimmed down, but the ambition is clear. This isn’t just a montage of gigs. It’s a story.
“A documentary with a plot,” as he put it.
Knight also sat down with both brothers, and if you know, you know. Quote machines. Sharp, funny, unpredictable. Exactly what you want.
Noel’s seen snippets and is staying cautious, but the word coming back to him? Amazing. His take: if the film captures even a fraction of what that tour felt like, it’s going to land.
And that tour? Especially the Manchester dates… lightning in a bottle.
Cameras were everywhere. Rehearsals. Meetings. The quiet moments before the noise. Insiders say fans will be locked in watching the Gallaghers navigate old scars in real time.
Meanwhile, Noel’s back in the studio. No word yet on whether that means new Oasis material or something else, but the timing’s interesting.
On stage in São Paulo last November, Liam kept it simple: gratitude, energy, and a promise… “see you again sometime.”
Don’t you feel like that “sometime” is getting closer?
