Chaotic. Bizarre. Right? Season four has been confirmed for a May 15 launch. 10 episodes, one more than season three’s nine episodes.
The first trailer for Love, Death + Robots season four gives you a look into the 10 short stories. Giant babies, cyberpunk-looking fighters, alien invasions, dinosaurs at war, a string puppet playing concerts. Oh my.
Simply put, the trailer for Love, Death + Robots season four has ADHD. And I love it.
And by the looks of it – one of the new episodes might revisit season three’s cult hit Night of the Mini Dead.
Maybe? Sure seems like it.
In the official description of season four, Netflix writes: “Dinosaur gladiators, messianic cats, string-puppet rock stars, it can only be Love, Death & Robots. The fourth volume, presented by Tim Miller (Deadpool, Terminator: Dark Fate) and David Fincher (Mindhunter, The Killer), sees Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2, Kill Team Kill) return as supervising director for ten startling shorts showcasing the series’ signature, award-winning style of bleeding-edge animation, horror, sci-fi and humor. Buckle up.”
Love, Death + Robots premiered in 2019 and has won 13 Emmy awards across 15 nominations.
This is one of a few series I can recommend wholeheartedly. From Season one, episode one (wow), Love, Death + Robots is bingeworthy! Get it.
