Korn’s Brian ‘Head’ Welch: New Music Is Coming In 2024

September 17, 2023

Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch says you can expect new music in 2024!

Welch was recently a guest of “The Joe Kingdom Perspective” podcast and talked about the follow up to 2022’s “Requiem” album, “Yeah, [there will be] new music coming out next year. I don’t know. We’re just kind of in hiding right now, just doing our own thing.”

Brian added, “It’s just crazy how the Lord just restored everything. A couple of members are on break too, and I took — or one’s out of the band, but one’s on break. And it’s just — it’s all good. I mean, I was gone almost a decade, and I came back. I’ve been back a decade. So you just never know what’s gonna happen.”

Welch rejoined the band in 2013, one year after joining the band onstage at the Carolina Rebellion festival in Rockingham, North Carolina to play “Blind”.

Korn’s last album, “Requiem”, was released in Feb ’22 and was produced by Chris Collier and Korn. It entered Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart at No. 1 adn sold 23,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release.

Do you think Korn’s new album will debut on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart at No. 1? Can they repeat?
