You’ll remember that Aerosmith announced their retirement from touring last August, after singer Steven Tyler suffered a vocal cord injury. Their final show was on their ‘Peace Out’ tour, which started in 2023, but only saw the band play three shows.

Tyler did return to the stage in February for a charity event, singing ‘Walk This Way’, ‘Dream On’ and ‘Sweet Emotion’. And of course, Tyler took part in the recent final Black Sabbath show/event a week or so back.

Now, Joe Perry talked with Eddie Trunk about the possibility of a full-on Aerosmith show.

“We’re talking about it. I mean, except for like, anything on the calendar, we’re all alive and well, so, you know, we’ll just have to see, you know? I know there’s gotta be at least another Aerosmith gig, and I’m not looking forward to putting the set list together for that one, but I don’t know, man. We’ll just have to see.”

Asked if Tyler can physically do it, Perry said, “You know, I think he would. I think it’s just a matter of getting there.”

Do you think Aerosmith will play one more show? One more tour? That’s doubtful. But one show? I could see that.
