Half a century in and they’re still flying the flag higher than anyone else. Iron Maiden is marking their 50th year with a double shot of nostalgia and fire.
First up, you’ll be able to get your hands on Volume III of The Official Iron Maiden Colouring Book as of November 21, 2025. It’s a fan-made, fully licensed tribute to Maiden. It’s made to celebrate the band’s milestone year and their record-breaking Run For Your Lives world tour. It’s packed with iconic artwork from Piece of Mind, Powerslave, Somewhere in Time, and beyond.
A pretty cool keepsake for the metalhead in your life. Maybe Santa’s team will be making some colouring books?
The other thing I wanted to tell you about… Parlophone Records is releaseing a brand new limited-edition 40th anniversary 2LP colour vinyl of Live After Death (which some believe is the best live metal album ever recorded), reborn exactly four decades after it first hit shelves.
Pressed on blue and yellow 140g vinyl, this beast includes the original 2015 remaster, a replica World Slavery Tour program, vintage tour pass, and a glossy 12-page booklet (complete with a new essay, “Rime and Punishment: Celebrating 40 Years of Live After Death,”) featuring fresh interviews with Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Rod Smallwood, and legendary artist Derek Riggs.
As Harris put it, “We were touring our arses off… record, tour, record, tour — we didn’t stop. You think you’re invincible. That’s the way to crack it.”
Those original shows, Long Beach Arena, Hammersmith Odeon, defined the band.
Now in year fifty, Iron Maiden has sold over 100 million albums, played nearly 2,500 shows across 64 countries, brewed over 40 million pints of Trooper Beer, and even scored their own Royal Mail stamps and Royal Mint coins.
Legends.
Five decades in and the tank’s still full. The future belongs to Eddie!
