Iggy Pops Talks With Flea In New Documentary, ‘Bitten By Flea!’

Iggy Pop was interviewed by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea for “Bitten By Flea!”, directed by Emmy and Grammy Award-winning filmmaker Thom Zimny (Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson & Family, Johnny Cash), the two cover what you’d expect: Iggy’s career into his 19th solo album, “Every Loser”.

For “Every Loser”, Iggy enlisted the help of some incredible musicians; Andrew Watt, Duff McKagan (Gn’R) and Chili Peppers’ Josh Klinghoffer and Chad Smith, Blink-182’s Travis Barker, Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard and Jane’s Addiciton’s Dave Navarro, Chris Chaney and Eric Avery!

The New York Times applauded the album for its “buzz-bombing, hard-riffing rock.”

Iggy Pop & The Losers made their TV debut earlier this year, playing “Frenzy” on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. The band is set to start a tour April 20 at The Regent in Los Angeles followed by April 22 at The Masonic in San Francisco, April 24 at The Orpheum in Los Angeles, April 27 at The Palladium in Los Angeles and April 29 at The Pearl in Las Vegas.

Love the idea of icon interviewing icon. Which two would you like to see collide?
