Forge took to the band’s social media over the weekend to announced the Sister Imperator series, printed by Dark Horse Comics. It’s a four-part mini-series and will tell the origin story of Sister Imperator, the fictional character who served as “the revered representative of the Clergy and behind the scenes overseer of Ghost’s dark machinations”.
You have some time to wait – the first issue of Sister Imperator isn’t scheduled to come out ’til March 5, ’25. They haven’t said when the other issues will come out.
Working alongside Tobias Forge is Corinna Bechko (Avatar: Adapt or Die), artist Puste (The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries), colourist Thiago Rocha (Kill All Immortals) and cover art by Mikael Eriksson! Stacked team.
The comic series is the latest entry in the band’s fictional years-long narrative after they released their first concert film ‘Rite Here Rite Now’ this summer.
Meanwhile, Ghost recently announced a world tour for 2025, with shows in the UK, Europe and North America!
Pretty talented frontman! What’s your favourite comic book of all-time. For me, HAS TO BE The X-Men.
