Foo Fighters Preview New Album With “Caught In The Echo”

Foo Fighters have shared a new single, “Caught In The Echo”.

This is the third track you’ve heard from the band’s 12th studio album, “Your Favorite Toy,” due April 24 via Roswell Records and Columbia Records. It follows “Asking For A Friend” and the album’s title track.

Frontman Dave Grohl opens with the line: “This is just a test of a broken broadcast system,” before pushing into a chorus built on repetition and urgency.

The band recently debuted another new track, “Of All People,” during intimate shows in Dublin, London and Manchester.

This summer, Foo Fighters head out on their European “Take Cover” tour, including two nights at Anfield in Liverpool, along with festival stops at Mad Cool Festival, NOS Alive and Pinkpop Festival.

Additional North American dates are set for later this year, with Australia and New Zealand shows planned for 2026 and 2027.

Speaking about the upcoming album, Grohl described it as packed with “uptempo” and “noisy, loud bangers” that tap into the band’s earlier energy. He also noted there’s no clear endgame in sight, saying each record is approached as if it could be their last.

“Your Favorite Toy” follows 2023’s “But Here We Are,” and is the first Foo Fighters album to feature drummer Ilan Rubin.
