This’ll be the first time in two decades that singer Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward will play live together! Can you even imagine what it’s gonna be like on July 5 at Villa Park in their hometown of Birmingham?

Mayhem. That’s what. Sabbath’s last show ever?! They’re calling the final show ‘Back To The Beginning’.

Tickets go on sale next Friday (February 14) and all profits will go to charities Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice. TICKETS HERE – I put the link knowing I have readers in that part of the world.

So, let’s see what Black Sabbath fans are saying about the show – flip thru Ozzy’s tweet:

One tweet said, “Tbh for the OG Sabbath members to still be around, let alone still perform!! That’s so crazy we should just appreciate 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.”

Another Sabbath fan wrote, “I will be doing anything to get this ticket. Sabbath and Ozzy have raised me since a teen. They are my soundtrack to this day. And the foundation of most of the music I ever listen to. God bless all 4 of you. 🤘🖤🖤🖤”

“Now this is the reunion we wanted” shared another fan.

And truly, they’re right. We’ve wanted THIS REUNION for ever. Last year Ozzy said he’d ‘jump at the chance’ to play a final Sabbath show with the original lineup and here we are. Around that same time, Ozzy’s wife/manager Sharon said they were working on two shows before Ozzy fully retires.

You’ll remember that Black Sabbath played the final show of their last farewell tour back in 2017, wrapping up at Birmingham’s arena. However, last May Ozzy said he was somewhat disappointed that their last show didn’t include drummer Bill Ward. Bill’d left the band in 2012, due to what he called an “unreasonable contract”.

Let’s face it. With Ozzy’s health where it is, I don’t know that many people who were optimistic that we’d get a final Black Sabbath show. I read an article where Ozzy said he might have to ‘accept the fact’ that a live comeback may not be possible. Yet here we are.

Yet. Here. We. Are.
