The post arrived the same day Pollstar reported that Brazilian entertainment company 30e had signed a global touring agreement with the band.

Interesting, no?

“30e feels like a company that wants to dent into the status quo, and as artists we understand the value of that,” Faith No More said in a statement. “Their approach doesn’t feel like the usual machinery; it feels like it’s coming from a different place, with a different kind of energy, and we are willing to get behind that.”

30e CEO Pepeu Correa called the partnership a natural fit.

“Faith No More has always been synonymous with disruption,” he said. “They shaped entire generations precisely because they refused to play by the market’s obvious rules.”

The announcement comes as a surprise given what members of the band have said over the last two years.

You may remember that in October 2024, keyboardist Roddy Bottum described Faith No More as being on a “semi-permanent hiatus” and later admitted he didn’t see the group returning to the stage.

“I don’t think so. No,” Bottum said when asked about playing shows again, adding, “I just don’t see it happening again, honestly.”

Bassist Billy Gould was similarly uncertain earlier this year.

“I don’t know. I honestly don’t know,” Gould told Chile’s Radio Futuro in January. “Right now we’re in a really weird spot, a really strange spot.”

The band’s future became even murkier in April when drummer Mike Bordin suggested vocalist Mike Patton had gone from being unable to perform with Faith No More to being unwilling to do so.

“It doesn’t feel great to me,” Bordin admitted. “It honestly kind of hurts my feelings a little bit.”

Faith No More hasn’t played a concert since 2016. The band famously canceled more than 70 scheduled shows in 2021 after Patton stepped away to deal with serious mental health struggles, including agoraphobia and depression.

Since then, you’ve been left wondering whether the legendary group would ever return.

Now, with a global touring deal in place and a mysterious “2027” teaser circulating online, Faith No More may have just provided its strongest signal yet that the story isn’t over.

Do you think Faith No More will return to the stage in 2027?
