Eight albums deep. No brakes!
Shinedown just announced their eighth studio record, Ei8ht, alongside the massive “Dance, Kid, Dance Act II” world tour.
Frontman Brent Smith says the album’s been over a year in the making and pushed the band harder than ever. High praise for longtime bandmate and producer Eric Bass, who handled production, engineering and mixing duties.
Smith call their new song “Safe And Sound: a warning shot. A reminder to the competition.
Last year alone: “Dance, Kid, Dance”, “Killing Fields”, “Three Six Five” and “Searchlight”.
Multiple #1 songs. Crossover success. And they extended their record for the most No. 1 songs in Billboard Mainstream Rock chart history.
