Swedish melodic metal CyHra is back in the spotlight, dropping a new single, “Bleed With Pride”.
If you’re not familiar with the band, they’re fronted by Jake E and featuring players tied to In Flames, The Halo Effect, Kamelot, The Crown and Suburban Tribe. The band is now marking its tenth anniversary.
The new song lands alongside news of their fourth studio album, “Requiem For A Pipe Dream,” set for release June 5, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music.
Jake E frames the song as a turning point.
“‘Bleed With Pride’ is about trusting your scars instead of hiding them,” he says. “Those wounds became my compass. If I’m going to bleed, it’s not out of shame anymore. It’s with pride.”
Built during a stretch of uncertainty, the album is said to lean into themes of resilience, identity, and the fight to keep moving when everything feels like it’s slipping away.

Since forming in 2016 with Jesper Strömblad, CyHra has carved out a lane that blends modern metal punch with arena-ready hooks. Their 2017 debut Letters To Myself kicked the door open, followed by No Halos In Hell in 2019 and The Vertigo Trigger in 2023.
Tours with Sabaton, Kreator and Battle Beast, plus festival runs across Europe, cemented their rise.
Now, a decade in, CyHra isn’t looking back. They’re rebuilding, louder than ever.
