Corrosion Of Conformity is back! They’ve wrapped recording on its first new album since 2018’s No Cross No Crown. And you’ll love this: it’s a double album!
BOOM.

On August 16, COC dropped a photo of Woody Weatherman and Pepper Keenan with a message for the “freethinkers and beer drinkers.” They say the double album is “one of the most meaningful and powerful records we have ever been a part of.” Stanton Moore, Bobby Landgraf, and longtime collaborator Warren Riker were all in the mix, with Riker now off to handle the final touches.
And you won’t believe where they recoreded. Sessions went down at a very unlikely spot: Barry Gibb’s private Miami studio. Yep, that Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees. COC even borrowed some of his prized gear, including the “Staying Alive Strat”. Pepper and Woody called the experience “humbling”.
“Didn’t take long to start puttin the pieces together. Couple of texts and phone calls and we got the ultimate invitation… Come record at my father’s place, where Warren and Stephen had built a dream studio. We stole the gas money and loaded the U haul n’ headed to Miams.. We’re goin to @officialbarrygibb of the friggin BEE GEES !! What followed next is way too epic to share…. but it took us to another level.”
The new record arrives in 2025, and fans can expect a monster. “Forever Amplified. See yall next tour with Alice (Cooper) and the mighty (Judas) Priest”, the band signed off.
Weatherman and Keenan say the fire hasn’t dimmed: “This book of CORROSION is not finished, nor will the train stop.”
Get ready. COC’s new chapter kicks off in 2025! Release date to come!
