Coldplay ‘Music Of The Spheres’ India show to be streamed live on Disney+

Coldplay took to their Twitter account to let you know that their forthcoming ‘Music Of The Spheres’ concert in India will be streamed live!

The Republic Day performance at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is on January 26th – and you’ll be able to access it on Disney+ and it will include exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the band!

Cool, right? I know.

Ahead of the show, singer Chris Martin said, “Namaste to all our friends in India. We’re thrilled to share that on the 26th of January, our show from Ahmedabad will be streaming live on Disney+ Hotstar, so you can watch it from anywhere in India. We hope you’ll join us – we’re so excited to visit your beautiful country. Sending lots of love!”

That same week, Coldplay will stream A Film For The Future on YouTube, on January 22. There will be special 360-degree screenings also taking place at Lightroom venues in London, Manchester and Seoul. The movie is a visual accompaniment to their latest album, ‘Moon Music’.

Meanwhile, Coldplay’s ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour recently became the biggest rock tour of ALL TIME, with the band continuing their tour in Asia.

They’re touring the UK this summer, with a 10 night run at London’s Wembley Stadium. 10 FREAKING NIGHTS.

And if you remember, singer Chris Martin told NME back in 2021 that the band will be wrapping things up with a final album in 2025. Do you think that’s still the case? The band will only release one more album? I dunno ’bout that. Chris did later elaborate, saying his plan was for Coldplay’s catalogue to end after 12 albums.

“It is 12 albums for sure, but we’re going to be a bit later than that. There’s one more thing, which is a musical. [That’s] album number 11, but that might have to come out after album 12 because of how long musicals take to animate.”

This is a HUGE tour for Coldplay. Biggest all ALL TIME?! Do you have a favourite concert you went to in 2024? Probably Kings Of Leon, for me.
