Charli XCX And Olivia Wilde To Star In Upcoming Movie ‘I Want Your Sex’
Director Gregg Araki is doing his first feature film in over a decade, I Want Your Sex, and singer Charli XCX has been cast, alongside actress Olivia Wilde.
Actor Cooper Hoffman (Licorice Pizza) is also among the movie’s main cast.
Here is the movie’s synopsis: “How far is too far? When fresh-faced Elliot (Hoffman) lands an exciting job for renowned artist, icon and provocateur Erika Tracy (Wilde), his fantasies come true as Erika taps him to become her sexual muse.”
“But Elliot soon finds himself out of his depth as Erika takes him on a journey more profound than he ever could have imagined, into a world of sex, obsession, power, betrayal and murder. Featuring outrageous characters and a playful sense of humor, I Want Your Sex will upend expectations in a way that will both shock and delight!”
I Want Your Sex is director Araki’s (Mysterious Skin, The Doom Generation) first feature film in over a decade (after 2014’s White Bird In A Blizzard). Production is said to start this October.
The movie is Charli XCX’s latest movie role (she was cast in the upcoming Faces Of Death 1978 remake). Shooting for Faces Of Death wrapped earlier this year, although there’s no release date – it marks Charli XCX’s first on-screen film role, after voicing roles in 2016’s The Angry Birds Movie and 2019’s UglyDolls.
Meanwhile, Charli XCX has been working in a recording studio with Bon Iver and Danielle Haim and has a ‘full-length other project’ in the works.
