In case you missed it, this past Sunday night (Nov 23) in San Francisco, she closed out the final show of her global run behind her acclaimed album Hit Me Hard And Soft and dropped the news fans were waiting for: the concert film, co-directed with James Cameron, lands 3-D in theatres on March 20, 2026.
“HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) coming to theatres on March 20th 2026!!!!” she wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of her and the Avatar filmmaker. “This has been one of my favourite tours ever, and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with @jamescameronofficial has truly been a dream come true.”
Eilish first teased the collab this summer in Manchester, hinting at the swarm of cameras and admitting she was working on “something very, very special” with Cameron. “He’s in this audience somewhere,” she joked to the crowd, warning she’d be wearing the same outfit for days while they shot.
The tour itself has been headline-heavy. Eilish blasted Elon Musk for failing to use his wealth for global causes, calling him a “pathetic pussy bitch coward.” Not long after, she pledged $11.5 million from the tour toward climate and food-equity charities.
She also made news when a fan in Miami grabbed her violently and tried pulling her into the crowd. Security removed and banned the fan, while another fan who stepped in to protect her was rewarded with merch and free tickets from Billie herself.
Bottom line, the take-away from this story: Cool collaboration!
