Biffy Clyro just pulled a switch-up. Their new album, Futique, is coming out a week earlier than planned and they’ve lined up a run of intimate UK acoustic shows to support it!

Originally set for Sept 26, Futique now lands Sept 19 and is up for pre-order. So far, you’ve heard two singles: “A Little Love” (#1 on UK’s Official Vinyl Singles Chart) and “Hunting Season.”

Next year, Biffy Clyro hit arenas across the UK and Ireland. Before that, they’re scaling things down for a series of acoustic gigs in October ’25, teaming up with some of their favourite indie record shops.

So cool!

That run starts Oct 13 in Kingston and hits Oxford, Bristol, Liverpool, Leeds, Dundee, before wrapping in Glasgow on Oct 22. Tickets (bundled with the new album) are on sale now.

Singer Simon Neil says Futique is “an exploration of ideas, objects or relationships that exist across time,” adding: “We are never aware when we do anything for the last time, and there’s a beauty and sadness within that. What will be your Futique?”

This new record follows 2020’s A Celebration Of Endings and 2021’s The Myth Of The Happily Ever After, and comes on the heels of Neil’s busy 2023 run with Empire State Bastard: his brutal side project featuring Mike Vennart (Oceansize), Naomi Macleod (Bitch Falcon), and Dave Lombardo (Slayer).

Biffy’s 2025 acoustic tour dates are:

OCTOBER
13 – Kingston, Circuit (with Banquet Records)
14 – Oxford, O2 Academy (with Truck Store)
16 – Bristol, The Prospect Building (with Rough Trade)
17 – Liverpool, Camp & Furnace (with Jacaranda)
19 – Leeds, Beckett University (with Crash)
21 – Dundee, Fat Sams (with Assai)
22 – Glasgow, SWG3 (with Assai)

Biffy Clyro is an underrated band. No question. If they’re not on your music radar, get with the program!
