Ariana Grande Brings Her Voice to the Screams of American Horror Story

Ariana Grande is stepping into the dark.

If you missed it, the pop icon has officially joined the cast of American Horror Story for its thirteenth season, marking her return to acting in one of TV’s most twisted.

Ryan Murphy’s long-running anthology series first hit screens in 2011 and has built a legacy of fear, beauty, and blood. Over twelve seasons, AHS has turned out unforgettable performances from Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, and James Cromwell.

This time, Grande enters the haunted lineup alongside returning legends Lange, Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Gabourey Sidibe, and Roberts.

Her casting was confirmed on Halloween through Ryan Murphy Productions’ Instagram, featuring the names of the cast in the show’s signature white font on a black backdrop, soundtracked by Vera Lynn’s “I’ll Be Seeing You.”

Lange, Bassett, Bates, and Sidibe haven’t appeared since Season 8 in 2018, while Paulson and Peters last haunted Season 10 in 2021. The return of so many fan-favorite faces has fans speculating that Season 13 might resurrect one of the show’s past storylines.

Rotten Tomatoes recently crowned American Horror Story the top horror TV series of all time, edging out Stranger Things and The Walking Dead.

For Grande, the role follows her work in Don’t Look Up and her upcoming star turn in Wicked: For Good, hitting theaters November 21.

And you don’t have to worry, Ariana isn’t done with music: “Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing and music. It is and always has been my lifeline… I am having fun. I feel grateful and excited and inspired.”

Is American Horror Story the most twisted series out right now?
