If you’ve kept up, you know it’s been quiet on the Arctic Monkeys front. Too quiet. Since dropping The Car in late 2022, Alex Turner and the boys have mostly kept to themselves. They toured the world, headlined Glastonbury 2023, brought out James Ford and Miles Kane as special guests, then… gone.
Now, things are moving. Kind of. The band recently launched a brand-new recording company, Bang Bang Recordings, and they’ve quietly updated their website. Gone is The Car artwork, instead a simple green backdrop. The store’s been tweaked. And, there’s now a “Newsletter” section.
Instagram fan page @ArcticMonkeysMania caught the change, posting before-and-after shots of the homepage. Over on X/Twitter, @hasitleaked pounced, claiming the Monkeys have “studio sessions booked for November” and a “full summer tour” lined up for 2026. No one’s confirming anything, but the account swears they’ve “never been wrong on Arctic Monkeys news before.”

Naturally, Reddit lit up 😉
“WE ARE GETTING A NEW ALBUM IN 2026!!!!” one user yelled. Another said, “I’m gonna throw up.” Someone else, a bit more cautious: “They’ve had that company name for a while… but I hope I’m wrong.”
Meanwhile, drummer Matt Helders seems to be dabbling in his own thing — teasing ambient, electronic material in the studio. He’s been hinting at a solo record since 2018. Still no release date.
So, are we actually getting Arctic Monkeys’ next album in 2026? But between the legal filings, website tweaks, and fan fever, it seems so!
