The Amy Winehouse biopic Back To Black, starring Industry‘s Marisa Abela as the late singer, has an official UK release date.
The biopic will star Abela alongside Jack O’Connell as Amy’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, Eddie Marsan as her father Mitch, and Lesley Manville as her grandmother.
And now, as you saw on Abela’s Instagram account, she confirmed the release into UK and Ireland cinemas on April 12, 2024!

As you’d expect, the film needed the approval of Winehouse’s estate.
A statement said, We are thrilled that StudioCanal, Focus Features and Monumental are making this movie celebrating our daughter Amy’s extraordinary music legacy and showcasing her talent in the way that it deserves.”
