AFI is back and they’re cannonballing into the pool! They’re releasing their new album, Silver Bleeds The Black Sun… via Run For Cover Records, on Ocotber 3. It’s their twelfth studio album and if the lead single, Behind The Clock, is any indication, they’re about to have a couple big years.
Singer Davey Havok is all in on director Gilbert Trejo’s vision for the video, “Gilbert’s video has sublimated the essence of Behind The Clock. His vision and expertise is inspiring. Working with him was a privilege and utter joy. He is an artist of the purest form.”
Trejo’s take? “We wanted the video to feel like you’re seeing something you shouldn’t… Davey’s lyrics cut marrow deep.”
To celebrate the new album, AFI is hitting the road with special guests TR/ST for a 24-date North American headline run, their first full-scale tour since 2021’s Bodies. It starts September 30 in Madison, WI, and wraps November 5 in San Diego, with stops in Chicago, Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, and more.
