Is This The End Of Jackass As We Know It?

You already know what this is going to cost them… and you still can’t look away.

The final Jackass movie isn’t easing out quietly. It’s limping, laughing, and crashing straight through the exit door.

Jackass has always lived in that space between fearless and reckless. Now it’s staring down the end, with Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and Chris Pontius stepping back into the chaos.

In the trailer, a robot delivers a rectal exam to Steve-O with a peanut butter-coated hand. Someone’s strapped into an electric shock collar. There’s even an escape room that swaps puzzles for an electric chair.

“Welcome to the first day of our last film,” Knoxville says in the trailer. There’s a pause. He admits he’s feeling “sad” about the end of Jackass.

As you’re likely aware, the franchise started back in 2000 on MTV, where Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera and the crew made a name out of doing what nobody else would willingly sign up for. Pain. That was the point.

By 2002, it jumped to the big screen. Four films followed. Back in January, Knoxville lit the fuse again on social media.

“Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang… We wanted to let you know that this summer Jackass is back!!”

But this time, there’s an end date attached. “This is the natural place to end,” he told Rolling Stone. “So it’s going to be absolutely awful.”

The last Jackass movie arrives June 26, bringing back familiar faces and newer ones like Eric Manaka, Zach Holmes, Rachel Wolfson, and Sean “Poopies” McInerney.

Knoxville said back in 2022 he planned to step away from “big stunts” after suffering a brain haemorrhage while filming Jackass Forever. That came after being launched into the air by a bull… and landing with multiple severe injuries.

Underneath the hits, the shocks, the broken bones… it’s always been about a group of guys willing to go through hell together, just to make you laugh.

Now they’re doing it one last time.
