Thirty years in and Sevendust is still hitting hard!
Album fifteen, One, comes out May 1. And Threshold rips!
Singer Lajon Witherspoon drives the song. Pressure. Breaking points. People who take too much.
“You want another piece of me, don’t ya? To break apart so you get what you wanted?”
The video leans darker. Animated chaos. A greedy agent digs the band up, literally, and puts them back on the road for profit.
Sevendust once again worked with Michael Baskette, the same producer who’s shaped their recent run.
Guitarist Clint Lowery called the sessions “four records in a row and all amazing experiences… taking things to the highest level.”
One looks like this:
- One
- Unbreakable
- Is This The Real You
- Threshold
- We Won
- Construct
- Bright Side
- The Drop
- Blood Price
- Misdirection
Meanwhile, Sevendust start up a U.S. tour on April 16. Clubs to theatres. Then festivals. Atreyu, Fire From The Gods, and American Adrenaline opening. Plus, they have some dates with Alter Bridge.
Sevendust continue to put the hammer to the floor and thankfully show no signs of slowing down!
