Okay, you saw this coming. Right? Oasis has officially hit “pause”. They’re stepping back to reflect after wrapping their massive 41-city Live ’25 reunion tour (that wrapped last night, Nov 24, in Brazil).

The tour started July 4 in Cardiff before exploding across the globe: five hometown shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park, seven nights at Wembley, and dates spanning Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas.
“And so it came to pass,” the band wrote in a statement, quoting journalist Simon Price’s infamous line: “The most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history” found its way into the hearts and minds of a new generation.
From Gallagher Hill to River Plate, Croke Park to Los Angeles, the band thanked fans for the love, the euphoria, and the tears. Then came the closer: “There will now be a pause for a period of reflection.” Signed simply: Oasis.

At their final São Paulo show, Oasis stuck to the same setlist they played every night of the tour. Fans later shared the emotional moment Liam handed Noel his tambourine and maracas before the brothers embraced to seal the end of the run.
Despite a history of volcanic tension, including the 2009 breakup hours before their Rock en Seine headline slot, the Gallaghers spent much of this tour sharing jokes, hugs, and even strolling on stage hand-in-hand in Cardiff to open the whole thing.
Rhythm guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, who rejoined for the South American leg while continuing prostate cancer treatment, called 2025 “the best year of my life.” Bassist Andy Bell added a simple “THANK YOU ALL” on Instagram.

Meanwhile, rumours of Oasis 2.0 haven’t slowed. Liam has teased more dates, dropping cryptic hints like “I know things you don’t know.” At Wembley in September he told fans, “See you next year”, before jokingly chastising himself.
And last night in Brazil, Liam left the door wide open: “We love you. Thanks for all your energy. Take care of yourselves and we’ll see you again sometime,” he said before launching into Champagne Supernova.
Do you think they’ll head into the studio and drop a new album in ’26? That’ what I’m betting on. Let’s see if it happens.
