Wow. Wet Leg isn’t wasting any time. Frontwoman Rhian Teasdale says their third studio album is already finished!
The news came during a chat with John Kennedy on Radio X, where Teasdale and guitarist Josh Mobaraki reflected on their whirlwind year and their 2025 album Moisturizer. When Kennedy asked about progress on LP3, Teasdale didn’t hesitate: “It’s done.”
Kennedy’s reaction: “It’s done?! Amazing. Where on Earth did you find the time?”, earned a perfectly Teasdale-Mobaraki response. “I know,” she said. “Not on Earth,” Mobaraki added.
The duo also talked about their upcoming outdoor UK shows in Manchester, Leeds, and London. “To fill a venue that size, you have to think about how the show works for 13,000 people,” Teasdale said. “It’s crazy. Onwards and upwards.”
Moisturizer earned two Grammy nominations for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Album Cover, along with a nod for Best Alternative Music Performance for the single Mangetout. Released in July ’25, the album hit Number One in the UK and drew praise from NME for being “smarter, sexier, and altogether stronger” than their debut.
Seems Wet Leg isn’t slowing down, quite the contrary. Another album already done?! Guess we’ll hear that in ’26, right?
