HarperCollins Publishers is releasing Van Halen drummer Alex Van Halen’s autobiography on October 22, 2024! The 384-page book has a sell price of $32.00 USD.
If you don’t know the back story – Alex and brother Eddie Van Halen formed a band called Mammoth in Pasadena, California, in 1972. They eventually renamed the band Van Halen when singer David Lee Roth joined, and later, bassist Michael Anthony.
As you know, Van Halen was one of the biggest rock bands of the ’80s and crushed the airwaves and MTV with songs like “Runnin’ With The Devil”, “Dance The Night Away”, “Hot For Teacher”, “Panama” and “Jump”. Sammy Hagar would go on to front the band after Roth’s departure and the band was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2007.
