‘X-Files’ Back For Another Season

The truth is out there. And agent’s Mulder and Scully search continues! A new series of Fox’s hit sci-fi show “The X-Files” was announced by the network on Thursday (April 20).


“The X-Files” comes back Fall 2017 with 10 new episodes that sees fictional FBI agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) investigating unexplained cases and those that involve the extraterrestrial.

The series originally ran from 1993 to 2002 and was rebooted with a six-episode run in 2016. Same scenario – Mulder and Scully investigate government cover-ups, monsters, mysterious objects in the sky and their son, William.

Show creator Chris Carter told Reuters last year that “The X-Files” as become even more relevant in the present age where conspiracy theories still run rife on the internet and UFOs still perplex people.
