LISTEN: William Shatner Is Releasing A Blues Cover Album
Did you know that William Shatner is releasing a Blues cover album? The latest has him teaming up with Deep Purple’s Ritchie Blackmore to cover ‘The Thrill Is Gone’ (B.B.King in 1970)!
Shatner joked in a press statement, ‘The Thrill is Gone’ is the title of the song, but the thrill is there with Richie Blackmore and his great guitar!”.
Shatner’s ‘The Blues’ cover album has 14 tracks including ‘Sweet Home Chicago’, ‘Route 66’ and ‘Sunshine Of Your Love’. They released ‘Let’s Work Together’ by Canned Heat and John Lee Hooker earlier this year. The album is out October 2nd.
