What We Know: Guardians Of The Galaxy 3
Guardians of the Galaxy writer/director James Gunn is back on for Vol.3!
Gunn confirmed on Twitter that a 3rd GOTG movie will be released in 2020!
Guardians Vol.3 will be set after Avengers: Infinity War and the as-yet untitled Avengers 4. On Twitter, Gunn said: “Vol. 3 will take place after Avengers 3 & 4.” On Facebook he said, “Much of what’s happened in the MCU for the past 10 or so years has been leading, in a big way, to the Avengers’ Infinity War. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will happen after all that.”
Not much is known about the plot of GOTG Vol.3. However, on Facebook, Gunn said the film “will conclude the story of this iteration of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and help catapult both old and new Marvel characters into the next ten years and beyond. I will be working side-by-side with Kevin Feige and the gang to help design where these stories go, and make sure the future of the Marvel Cosmic Universe is as special and authentic and magical as what we have created so far.”
2020 doesn’t seem like a long wait for what should be another knock-it-outta-the-park movie from James Gunn & crew!
