Do you know what I mean when I say the things that grab ahold of you early in life stay with you for a lifetime? Comic books are like that for me. And seeing the first trailer for X-Men: Dark Phoenix takes me back to being 12yrs old and not a care in the world.
Love that they’ve picked Sophie Turner (Game Of Thrones) to play Jean Grey/Phoenix. In my opinion, Dark Phoenix is one of the most powerful charters in the Marvel universe; a mutant with telepathy and telekinesis.
When is it out you ask? Yes! Not much longer. X-Men Dark Phoenix is in theatres on January 7th, 2019! Oh. The perfect Valentine’s date? Pre-order tickets today. The classic good ‘guy’ turns bad plot. This all reeks of Grade 6 at Dave W’s place. I LOVE IT.
And, you gotta love that there’s a virtual who’s-who of the X-Men universe showing up in this one! Easily my favourite Marvel series all-time.
